Snow much fun!

The field trip to play in the snow turned out to be so much fun! The kids had a blast playing in the snow, sledding, and building a snowman. It was a pretty chilly day, but kids are resilient! They loved it! The moms and dads were tired of the cold way before the kids! Thanks so much to the parents who came!

Christmas Program

Thanks Santa for coming to visit Miss Mary's Little Lambs Christmas Program!

Thank you to all the parents and families that came to support the kids in their program. I think they did a great job. (I apologize for the cramped enviornment...I've already scheduled the library for next year...you live and learn during your first experience!)
I was so busy with the kids, I didn't get any photos of the program. If you have any that you'd like to post on the blog, e-mail them to me.

Special thank you to Joann Barber for playing the piano!

Our program:

A is for angel, as sweet as can be.

Look how she smiles from the top of the tree

B is for Box with a big fancy bow

What could be hidden inside, do you know?

C is for Candy Cane, striped red and white.

A likety, crunchity, munchy delight!

D is for Dolly, with soft sleepy eyes. She drinks from a bottle; she toddles and cries

E is for elves, making all kinds of noise.

With hammers and nails as they build some new toys.

F is for frosting, that’s mixed in a pan.

And G is for a funny fat Gingerbread man.

H is for Holly, a bright decoration.

That helps make Christmas a fun celebration.

I is for Ice skates, they’re such fun to try.

Just step on the ice and away you will fly!

J is for Jingle Bells polished so bright. For reindeer to wear on their Christmas Eve flight.

K is for Kitten, with soft, fluffy fur; Whenever she’s petted she’ll snuggle and purr.

L is for List, that old Santa checks twice. So he can find out who’s been naughty or nice.

M is for mittens, so comfy to wear. They keep your hands warm in the cold, frosty air.

N is for nutcracker, made out of wood. He thinks that black walnuts and almonds tast good.

O is an Ornament, made for the tree. And hung in a spot where it’s easy to see.

P is Plum Pudding, a sweet, yummy treat;

It’s stuffed full of raisins and such fun to eat.

Q is a quilt, you can put on your lap. While waiting for Santa or taking a nap.

R is for reindeer, that pulls Santa’s sleigh.

In no time at all they’ll be flying your way!

S is for stockings, all stuffed full of toys. Special surprises for good girls and boys.

T is for Trains, that go clickity-clack.

Around and around on their own little track.

U is the Uniform, so proudly worn. By the little tin soldier, who’s blowing a horn.

V is for village, where lights softly glow.

To guide Santa’s sleigh through the snow.

W stands for the wreaths hung each year. To brighten our doors with holiday cheer.

X is the xylophone. Santa will pack. A y is the yo-yo he’ll add to his sack.

Z is for Zebra, with big button eyes. He’s meant to be somebody’s Christmas surprise

You’re wished a happy holiday that’s fun from A to Z!
