B is for Bear

B week at preschool was so much fun! We played with bubbles, made our cute bear puppets, and had a Teddy Bear Picnic. It was nice to meet all our preschool friend's teddy bears. They had wonderful manners at our special party.

"If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise...For today is the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic!"

Yummy bear food. Berries, Bears, Fish (Bears catch fish), and Bread and Honey!

Yummy snack brought to us by Brooklyn. Bridger's mom also made some but I didn't get a picture of those! Thanks for all the snacks. You have been so creative in choosing your snacks!

Black Island Farms

Fun at the Farm! Thanks for coming and having an adventure at the farm. My favorite part was watching the pig races. All my little lambs sitting around the "arena" looked so cute! Preschool friends got to play at all the different activities around the farm, go on a tractor ride and get a tour of the farms. (Did you get to taste the cabbage? It was delicious!) The Little Lambs picked out pumpkins and had lots of fun!

"L-Lamb"

Mary's Little Lambs learned out the letter L! We sang the lollipop song, made lemonade, played with our lamb puppets, and learned to write little L's and large L's! These little lambs are so LOVELY!

Preschool Open House

Welcome Little Lambs!
Miss Mary (and her dedicated husband and cousin) had quite the adventure in bringing a lamb to our open house. The sheep were "out to pasture" and didn't want to join us at the open house. We spent 2+ hours running around in mud and muck to bring a sheep. Our little "Baa Baa Black Sheep" was so nervous to join us. The kids had fun seeing the lamb. Parents and students enjoyed yummy corn on the cob and fresh baked bread for a little snack. Miss Mary hopes you had fun seeing the classroom and meeting your new friends.
We're going to have a great year!
